Custom Coils, Inc. is located on a nine-acre tract of land along US 69 in north Jacksonville. The modern manufacturing facility is housed in a 45,000 sq ft metal building. Approximately 70 people are employed by the Jacksonville plant. All coils manufactured are UL recognized to meet US and Canadian safety standards.

Custom Coils, Inc. has been a supplier of premium quality copper tube aluminum fin heat exchangers since 1971. A Dallas businessman founded the company to supply component coils to his operation manufacturing aftermarket and specialty air conditioning systems. The original market focus was automotive add-ons, heavy trucks, passenger buses, and replacement coils for OEM air conditioners. US Holdings acquired the company in 1986.

In the early 1980’s, management recognized the need to diversify its customer base. A concerted effort was made to expand into the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (HVACR) market. Sales representatives were signed up to actively pursue that portion of the market. The result of that effort was a customer base across a wide variety of industries. They have presented challenging opportunities to manufacture parts for an extensive array of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America and Europe.

Steady sales growth throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s led to several expansions of the building and equipment. Early in this century, the facility was enlarged to its present size. Product offerings were also enhanced through the acquisition of additional equipment and tooling. A company wide focus on quality and customer satisfaction has given Custom Coils, Inc. an enviable reputation among its peers in the industry.
